About Us

New House was formed by Harold Stanier in 1921 as a knitting business, and today it is still owned by the same family.

 

Based in rural Herefordshire, New House Textiles works from picturesque 300-year-old buildings, surrounded by woodlands and is situated close to the River Wye.

 

The Company has been designing and manufacturing stop-motions for many applications for over 70 years, many of which have been exported.

 

New House has also been closely involved in the window blind industry since the 1980’s and with our own design studio, is a constant innovator in blind fabric design and decorative blind accessories. www.newhousetextiles.co.uk
